These photographs were taken one smoggy day at the famous Tehachapi Loop. The loop and adjacent area is always good for a busy show.
The loop is an astounding sight and is well worth the trip; you will not be disappointed. The best place for photography is the roadside overlook.
Resist the temptation to venture onto railroad property. Doing so is disrespectful of the crew members of the trains as well as dangerous for everyone involved.
It is obvious I was ignorant and very foolish when I took these photographs, but that was then and this is now when I am older and wiser.
