Today, the new THOMAS F. GROSE ARCHIVAL FACILITY was dedicated with a ceremony held at the ORANGE EMPIRE RAILROAD MUSEUM, located in Perris, California. I made it a priority to attend and I did. While there, I photographed the scene as the ceremony went forward toward the formal conclusion of many years of planning and hard work. The ceremony was witnessed by many members, including several founding members. It is my hope these images of this day reflect the pride quietly expressed by the many members I spoke to as I went about photographing the scene.
